SupplyGo are actively seeking SEND Teaching & Learning Assistants, to work in a Specialist SEND School in the Belper area. The role will consist of working on a 1:1 basis with children aged between 4-19 years old, predominantly with Autism, ADHD, and other relating learning difficulties.
The school specialises in working with students with High-Functioning Autism, ADHD, Global Development Delay, Visual & Hearing Impairments, and they also have a wide number of Speech & Language staff, and Occupational Therapists.
You will be a part of a child's ongoing development and route to independence and will be working with other professionals to help create a fun nurturing environment. There is nothing better than watching a child grow and develop into a young adult with the knowledge that you have been a large part of that ongoing development. The working hours would be 08:30am-16:00pm, Monday to Friday, and the minimum pay is £96.00 per day inclusive of holiday pay.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
· Forming a strong relationship with the children in your care.
· Helping the children become more independent.
· Supporting the children within the class with emotional support.
· Working with other education & SEND professionals.
· Working on a child's development plan.
