Freewheelin’ Community Bikes is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing accessible bicycles and teaching youth life and leadership skills that improve their physical and mental well-being. Our retail shop offers a variety of products, including trusted brand-name parts and accessories, used accessories and parts meeting quality standards, and refurbished commuter and road bikes. We are a community-centric organization that fosters a positive environment for both staff and customers.


Job Overview:

The Ecommerce Consumer Experience Lead plays a crucial role in shaping the online presence and enhancing the overall customer journey for Freewheelin’ Community Bikes’ online store. This position combines creative content development, technical troubleshooting, and strategic thinking to create a seamless and engaging online experience that reflects the brand’s values and drives online sales.


Responsibilities:

* Content Creation & Optimization:
* Execute online content creation and updates tied to product launches and promotional campaigns.
* Ensure all content, including product descriptions, online posts, and landing pages, is accurate, engaging, and optimized for search engines (SEO).
* Collaborate with marketing and design Coordinator to create compelling content and visuals that align with Freewheelin’ Community Bikes’ brand voice and values.
* Leverage tools like Shopify analytics to track user behavior and inform content strategy.
* Website Management & Maintenance:
* Work with the retail & marketing team to implement website changes, new features, and site fixes.
* Facilitate online store settings and maintenance related to products and promotions.
* Manage the online product catalog, including adding new items and maintaining the database.
* Troubleshoot and resolve website issues via ecommerce tools to ensure a smooth user experience.
* Develop creative ideas and propose improvements for site content, enhancements, and functionality.
* Assist in executing online marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
* Stay informed about new digital solution trends and contribute to digital strategy development.
* Analyze website performance metrics, including conversion rates and user engagement, and identify opportunities for optimization.
* Technical & Process Improvement:
* Demonstrate technical acumen for working with and troubleshooting online systems and tools.
* Execute, document, and improve site operations and processes to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
* Assist internal stakeholders with new site launches and major feature changes.
* Effectively lead and collaborate with various business functions, including marketing, IT, and bike shop customer service, to achieve shared goals.
* Customer Service: Always deliver superior customer service, creatively and consistently, reflecting Freewheelin’ Community Bikes’ commitment to positive customer interactions.
* Tact & Integrity: Conduct all business with tact, integrity, and uncompromising ethics, aligning with the values of Freewheelin’ Community Bikes.
* Adaptability & Learning: Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in ecommerce and customer experience.
* Problem-Solving & Creativity: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find solutions for enhancing the online experience.
* Multitasking & Prioritization: Possess the ability to complete multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
