Key Responsibilities
* Manage all contractual and financial aspects of construction projects.
* Ensure projects are delivered within budget and to the highest quality standards.
* Undertake risk management, value engineering and cost control.
* Prepare and assess costings for tenders.
* Provide advice on contractual claims and dispute resolution.
* Analyse outcomes and produce detailed progress reports.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the various building contracts currently in use.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong background in civil engineering projects.
* Thorough understanding of construction methods and materials.
* Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Solid knowledge of contract law and industry regulations.
* Proficiency in relevant software packages.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
