Engineers - Sensors and Comms, National Security Introduction Join our growing Sensors and Comms team within Roke’s National Security group. You’ll work on a range of complex and challenging projects to aid critical missions that directly affect the National Security of the United Kingdom. What you’ll be doing Research. Dive deep into existing and emerging technologies. You will work alongside one or more of the teams in RF cyber, communication systems and locations technologies. Design, prototype, build and test. Challenge your creativity. Our customers have novel requirements. The tools you build will ultimately help protect lives and our National Security. Advise. You will act as a trusted advisor, in a position that demands integrity. There are roles available for a wide range of experience and responsibilities. What you’ll bring Whether you specialise in a specific field or have a very broad understanding of technologies, you will apply your experience to mission-led programmes. You will have experience in any number of the areas below or hold a degree in a related STEM subject: Wireless technologies (Cellular, PNT, IoT etc) RF systems, electronics and antennas FPGA Design & Development MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, Python System engineering lifecycles, safety and testing Why Roke You’ll work with smart, supportive people on projects that genuinely matter.
