Summary ofRole:
Exciting opportunity for aSenior Systems Engineer to join the Raytheon Air Traffic ManagementSystems team, part of the Weapons and Sensors business unit. Thisrole offers a chance to provide Systems Engineering expertiseacross the ATMS product lifecycle and serves as a stepping stone toa Team Leading Position for those pursuing that careerpath.
MainDuties:
* Provide supportto the System Design Authority and Systems Engineering Team Leadersin project requirements development andmanagement.
* Engage in Systems Analysis andDesign work, technical design reviews, and bid proposal materialgeneration.
* Be based at Raytheon's Harlowfacility, undertaking development studies and investigationactivities.
* Work in a highly technicalenvironment, contributing both autonomously and within ateam.
* Take on complex challenges, followingcompany processes to deliver timelysolutions.
CandidateRequirements:
Essential:
* Experienceacross the systems engineering lifecycle, from requirements tocertification.
* Experience in generatingtechnical documentation for internal and customerpurposes.
* Understanding of policies, practices,and procedures, with the ability to communicate theseeffectively.
* Ability to work autonomously,meeting agreed timescales.
* Team player with theability to perform under pressure.
* STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) degree orsimilar.
Desirable:
* Knowledgeof Air Traffic Management or Radarsystems.
* Experience with Air Traffic Managementor Radar systems.
* Experience with the IBMRational DOORS toolset.
* Experience with SysMLor UML in a Systems Engineeringenvironment.
* Experience with configurationmanagement systems.
* Membership/Charter withINCOSE (or similar professionalbody).
