Pay Rate: £35 per hour
Bradford Children and Families Trust is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Social Worker to join our Fostering Supervisory & Support Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to make a real difference to the lives of children and families within the Bradford community.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert supervision and support to foster carers, ensuring high-quality care and safeguarding standards.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and reviews of foster placements, ensuring they meet the individual needs of children and young people.
Lead and support the delivery of training and development for foster carers.
Work closely with the social work team, foster carers, and external agencies to ensure effective collaboration and information sharing.
Contribute to the planning and implementation of service improvements within the fostering service.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and foster care policies.Essential Requirements:
A recognised Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
HCPC registration as a Social Worker.
Significant experience working within fostering, safeguarding, or children's services.
Strong understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding procedures.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently, managing your caseload efficiently.
