Senior Staff Nurse – Specialist Cancer Nursing

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Staff Nurse to join our specialist cancer nursing team at Private Care at Guy's, part of London Bridge Hospital.

This state-of-the-art cancer centre has been rated Outstanding by the CQC and is one of the UK's most advanced private oncology facilities, offering a full range of services including theatres, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and dedicated oncology and surgical wards. As a centre of excellence, we are proud to be at the cutting edge of clinical innovation. Our team delivers pioneering treatments such as robotic surgery, JACIE-accredited stem cell transplants for blood cancers and Multiple Sclerosis, and revolutionary bispecific antibody therapies – available exclusively in the private sector through our hospital.

In this role, you'll play a vital part in providing holistic, high-quality care to patients across all stages of cancer treatment. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will support patients receiving chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapies, and other Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatments (SACT). Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, and implementing personalised care plans, safely administering treatments, and managing complex symptoms with a focus on pain control, nutrition, and emotional support. You'll also be a key advocate for your patients, ensuring their physical and psychological needs are met with empathy and professionalism.

Leadership responsibilities underpin your role; you will act as Charge Nurse, leading shifts, making dynamic decisions, and collaborating on staffing to align with patient allocation. You will also assume clinical responsibility for patients undergoing transplant and those enduring oncological complications.
