The Role
* Teaching History across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to support A-Level classes in Year 2 of your induction.

* Planning lessons that develop students' abilities to evaluate evidence, analyze interpretations, and construct arguments.
* Supporting pupils with GCSE examination preparation and the mastering of essay-writing techniques.
* Encouraging a passion for local history and heritage through fieldwork and museum visits.
* Contributing to the school’s academic enrichment programme, such as the History Society or Debate Club.
* Engaging in whole-school CPD and the statutory ECT induction sessions and observations.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Currently working towards or recently completed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* A strong academic background with a degree in History (2:1 or higher preferred).
