You'll be instrumental in managing a UK-based Managed Service Provider, ensuring exceptional support and maintenance for MS 365 and SI applications. Your mission? To deliver outstanding application service availability and continuous improvement across the SaaS-based SI product stack! Key Responsibilities: * Lead all SI-related Service Management activities with enthusiasm and precision.* Regularly assess and report on Managed Service Provider performance, ensuring alignment with business goals.* Manage a team of 3 service desk engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.* Design and implement a strategic roadmap for Service Management, influencing key stakeholders along the way.* Embed service management processes across the SI unit, working closely with Change Management teams.* Own the service operating models, ensuring smooth transitions and collaboration with partners like the Great Grid Partnership.* Provide cradle-to-grave ownership of IT services, integrating service desk capabilities seamlessly.* Identify and manage risks effectively, making informed decisions that drive value. What We're Looking For: * Proven experience in managing IT as a Service with a strong grasp of ITSM frameworks.* Track record of successfully interfacing with both internal and third-party service providers.* Strong relationship management skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.* A solid understanding of application technologies and business processes.* Technical experience with a variety of products and technologies is a plus. Qualifications: * Essential: Degree in a relevant discipline; ITSM certifications (e.g., ITIL v3 foundation or ISO20000).* Desirable: Project management certifications (e.g., PMP or Prince2).
