7.5t Customer Delivery Driver
Location: Dagenham
Pay Rate: £15.73 p/h (£17.61 p/h with holiday pay included)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM start time
We are seeking dedicated 7.5t Customer Delivery Drivers for a leading supplier of bedroom furniture. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering weekday-only shifts. Be the friendly face of our client, delivering exceptional customer service and furniture to customers' homes. Heavy lifting is required, and you'll deliver items directly to a room of the customer's choice.
Your key responsibilities as a 7.5t Delivery Driver:
* Adhere to all transport legal requirements and company policies, including uniform and ID standards.
* Provide warm, professional interactions with customers, addressing any queries.
* Deliver and, when trained, install bedroom furniture to customers' rooms of choice.
* Maintain cleanliness in customers' homes, recycling packaging where possible.
* Conduct pre- and post-delivery vehicle checks and complete paperwork accurately.
* Use a PDA to update delivery statuses and ensure the Home Delivery Charter is followed.
* Handle furniture with care and maintain a safe, organized vehicle at all times.
