We are looking for an energetic, dedicated, and passionate PE Teacher to join the team at a vibrant school. This is a fantastic opportunity to motivate and inspire young people through sport, physical activity, and health education. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a PE Teacher:
1. Teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 if applicable) to a high standard
2. Planning and delivering engaging lessons across a variety of sports and physical activities
3. Promoting teamwork, leadership, resilience and healthy lifestyles through sport
4. Contributing to the development of a broad and inclusive PE curriculum
5. Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
6. Organising and supporting extra-curricular clubs, school teams, and inter-school fixtures
7. Supporting whole-school health and well-being initiatives
8. Maintaining equipment and ensuring adherence to health and safety procedures
9. Being an active and collaborative member of the PE department and wider school community
Ideal PE Teacher:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
* Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physical Education
* Has experience in teaching a range of sports and fitness activities
* Is enthusiastic, approachable, and a positive role model for students
* Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management
* Is committed to inclusive practice, student engagement, and high standards
* Is a team player with excellent communication and organisational skills as a PE Teacher.
* Is willing to contribute to the wider life of the school, including fixtures, trips, and events
