Simpson’s Lane Academy are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our academy as soon as possible on a temporary, part time basis until 31 August .

Your new role
As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. You may carry out work in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.
Hours: 32.5 hours per week / Term Time only plus 5 days (39 weeks) / Temporary until 31 August .

The academy is located on the Warwick Estate in Knottingley. The academy is a slightly larger than averaged sized academy, catering for pupils from the Early Years Foundation Stage, through Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2. There are currently pupils on roll, including 40 part time Nursery pupils.
