This is an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and enrichment environment at The Laurels Primary School, part of the Durrington Multi-Academy Trust (DMAT). Our school is a one-form entry primary with 190 children on roll and we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and well-being.

You will be working with a team of friendly, dedicated and hard-working staff, along with a supportive board of governors, who are all driven by a real desire to change children's lives for the better. However, it's not just our team who are great Our brilliant children are enthusiastic and are keen to learn. We are well supported by our board of governors and trust, who are all driven by a real desire to change children's lives for the better.
The role involves raising standards of achievement under the direction of the class teacher and/or SENDCo by working with children of all abilities in the classroom, and delivering intervention groups. At lunchtime, the role requires supervision of children while they eat and play and supporting them to make social relationships with peers.

Salary: Grade 4, SCP 5 FTE: £25, Actual Salary £18,283.07)
Term time only + additional INSET days as requested
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: 8.30am – 3.15pm, Monday - Friday with a 30-minute lunch break
