Payroll Administrator
Are you an experienced Payroll or HR professional seeking a new challenge? Our client is looking for a highly motivated Pay & Benefits Administrator to join their team in Colchester, Essex.
This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining both office-based and remote work, providing flexibility whilst maintaining on-site collaboration during your initial probation period.

Duties as a Pay & Benefits Administrator will include:
10. Assist with the end-to-end payroll process for approximately 3000 employees across the UK, Northern Ireland, and the Channel Islands
11. Verify and process new starters, leavers, and data changes such as salary, commissions, and bonuses
12. Produce, analyse, and distribute payroll and benefits reports
13. Maintain and update spreadsheets, databases, and payroll records
14. Provide excellent support and advice to colleagues regarding pay and benefits queries
15. Ensure compliance with statutory payroll requirements including tax, national insurance, pensions, and statutory payments
16. Understand legislation relating to statutory sick pay, company sick pay, maternity and paternity pay
17. Administer employee benefits programmes such as pensions, private medical insurance, and flexible benefits
18. Perform ad hoc payroll and benefits duties as required
Requirements that the Pay & Benefits Administrator will need:
19. At least 2 years' experience working within a payroll or HR environment
20. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
21. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
22. Excellent communication skills to effectively handle employee queries
23. Ability to work within a team and independently
24. Live within a commutable distance to Colchester
