Description

HR Operations & Site Leadership

1. Serve as the UK HR point of contact within the EMEA HR operating model, partnering closely with Regional HRBPs and global COEs.
2. Execute global HR programs locally while providing regional input and feedback to improve scalability across EMEA.
3. Support HR service delivery for additional EMEA countries where in‑country HR is not present, within defined governance and escalation frameworks.
4. Manage HR and site administration, including Workday HRIS data and employee files (regular and contingent).
5. Help administer monthly payroll and ensure compliance with statutory registration and tax requirements.
6. Act as the trusted HR advisor on labor law, policy enforcement, and disciplinary matters.
7. Lead all HR activities for facility setup, including policy development and statutory compliance for a manufacturing organization.
8. Drive recruitment, onboarding, and induction for employees and contingent workers.
9. Ensure local compliance with all labor, safety, and employment regulations.
10. Support employee health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives in partnership with the site HSE team.
11. Plan and coordinate internal communication and employee engagement events.

HR Service Delivery & Case Management

12. Oversee daily HR service delivery to employees and stakeholders, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLA).
13. Manage and resolve HR cases (e.g., employee complaints, policy violations, ER issues) in a timely and compliant manner.
14. Maintain accurate documentation of HR case records and ensure confidentiality of data.
15. Lead continuous process improvement initiatives across HR service delivery functions.
16. Collaborate with global COEs, HRBPs, and business leaders to align local practices with enterprise-wide programs.

Compliance, Policy & Immigration

17. Serve as the UK HR point of contact within the EMEA HR operating model, partnering closely with Regional HRBPs and global COEs.
18. Execute global HR programs locally while providing regional input and feedback to improve scalability across EMEA.
19. Support HR service delivery for additional EMEA countries where in‑country HR is not present, within defined governance and escalation frameworks.
20. UK collective consultation, redundancy processes, and TUPE.
21. Working Time Regulations and holiday pay complexity.
22. ACAS‑aligned disciplinary and grievance processes.
23. Experience supporting Works Councils or employee forums (where applicable)
24. Monitor, interpret, and implement changes in labor laws and internal policies.
25. Lead the development and periodic review of HR policies and procedures.
26. Ensure compliance with employment, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
27. Oversee UK visa sponsorship and right‑to‑work compliance, and coordinate immigration processes for supported EMEA countries through external providers and legal counsel.
28. Advise business leaders on cross‑border employment risks, mobility considerations, and local market constraints.

Talent & Performance Management

29. Support global HR initiatives locally (e.g., succession planning, goal setting, performance reviews, engagement surveys).
30. Assess local training and development needs and implement learning initiatives.
31. Support data-driven decision-making using HR analytics and reporting.

Employee Relations & Culture

32. Promote a harmonious work environment through effective employee relations practices.
33. Drive employee engagement programs to enhance culture and retention.
34. Lead local change management initiatives and contribute to global HR transformation projects.

Required Qualifications

35. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
36. 8+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment or similar industrial experience.
37. 3+ years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
38. Strong knowledge of UK labor laws, payroll, and compliance requirements.
39. Hands-on experience managing greenfield HR projects is a plus.
40. Proficiency in HRIS (Workday preferred), Excel, and HR analytics.

Other Requirements

41. Willingness to travel up to 10% (mostly domestic, limited international).
