We are a small family-run care home, with 12 elderly residents, and we are looking for a caring individual to join our friendly care team to provide the best person centred care possible for our residents.

A few of the main details:
* Day shifts: we have 36 hours a week available on a permanent contract basis. We operate a two-weekly rota - one weekend will include 12 hours on Saturday and Sunday, the alternate will be your weekend off.
* 6 or 12 hour shifts
* Shift times: 7am to 1pm / 1pm to 7pm / 7am to 7pm (night shifts)
* Day shifts including alternate weekends (every other) and an occasional night shift if cover is needed (very rarely)
* Assisting in personal care, mobility needs, medication and general daily living
* Ensuring that the residents physical and emotional needs are always met
* Helping with the preparation and serving of meals and drinks
* Assisting with activities for the residents, including accessing the community, nail painting, hand and foot massages, arts & crafts, bingo, quizzes, etc.
* Free uniforms and DBS cost re-imbursed after 6 months employment
Care experience is preferable, although full training will be given, we are looking for a quick learner with good use of initiative and able to multitask.
