About The RoleRole: - Support Worker - York. Pay Rates: - £13.68 - £15.69 per hour (including holiday pay). Pay Rates (not including holiday pay): - £12.21 - £14 per hour. Location: - York. Responsibilities
* Assist Support adults with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
* Encourage independence by helping individuals make choices and develop life skills.
* Assist with attending appointments, activities, and community events.
* Respond calmly and professionally to challenging behaviour, using de-escalation techniques and following behaviour support plans.
* Monitor and promote physical and emotional well-being, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
* Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the care team and families.
Requirements
* 2 satisfactory, professional references
* Right to work in the UK
* Minimum of 6 months experience as a Health care Assistant
* PMVA and MAPA training (desirable)
* Hourly Pay from £12.21 - £14.00 plus Holiday Pay
