Lift Repair Engineer
ORONA’s activities are focused on the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance, and modernisation of lifts, escalators, moving ramps and walkways. Operating in 100 countries, we have 330,000 lifts worldwide using our technology. With 2 manufacturing plants Orona is Number 1 in Europe in terms of complete lift production capacity.
We are looking for a Lift Repair Engineer to join our Service team to cover our Sunbury repairs. As an experienced Lift Engineer you will be responsible for:
1. Carrying out regular planned preventative maintenance and service visits
2. Attending lift breakdown callouts to carry out minor lift repairs
3. Meeting agreed customer response times, building relationships with our clients
4. Providing regular updates to the Service Manager and becoming an integral part of the regional 24/7 Standby/Callout rota.
5. Solving issues across a portfolio of Orona and competitor lifting equipment and carrying out basic LG1 examinations
6. Problem solving and working on your own initiative

To qualify for this vacancy we would expect you to have:
7. NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering
8. Experience of working with Lifts
9. Strong customer skills
10. A valid UK Driving License

Requirements
23. Senior Repairs Engineer - NVQ 3, LEIA Units 1 (Introduction to Lift Technology),
24. 15(Fundamentals of Lift Technology), 9 (Managing Safely) + 2 other units from 12 (Electronic Systems & Controls for Lifts), 17 (Advanced Lift Technology ‐ Electrical), 16 (Advanced Lift Technology ‐Mechanical)
25. Repairs Engineer - NVQ 3, LEIA Units 1 (Introduction to Lift Technology), 15(Fundamentals of Lift Technology)
26. Must have valid UK Driving Licence.
27. Certified under Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) or able to achieve.
