Scottish Power Renewables are looking for an OFTO Coordinator to join their East Anglia Three project on a contract basis.Role: Offshore Transmission Owners CoordinatorBusiness: Scottish Power Renewables - East Anglia ThreeDuration: Initial contract until 31st Dec 2024 with extension in line with the projectLocation: Tudor Street London, or St Vincent Street Glasgow/hybrid style workingRate: Inside IR35, Umbrella and PAYE options availableJob Purpose StatementThe OFTO Co-ordinator role is to co-ordinate the project management activities across the EA3 Grid activities, specifically to work with the HVDC Converters and Export Cable Package Managers.Accountability StatementsMonitoring and reporting on overall progress of the package deliverables, through consolidation of weekly and monthly reportsIdentifying package blockers internally and externally and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the project progresses to programme and in compliance with the employer's requirementsFacilitating discussions internally and externally to resolve disputes impacting on project progressWhere required, attend project fabrication and construction locations to carry out progress and quality inspectionsSupporting the Grid Execution Manager in management of package meetings, including meeting arrangements, chairing meetings, and preparing minutes of meeting and actions logs as requiredProviding coaching and support to HVDC Converter Package team members on areas of expertise in offshore fabrication and operationsCo-ordinating with internal stakeholders including legal, commercial, financial, technical, and corporate functions.Supporting the management of project sites (manufacturing facilities, onshore sites, harbours, vessels, and offshore sites) under delivery including contractors, consultants, and supervisors to support the overall investment plan.Supporting the management of site hand over from delivery to O&M to secure long term investment value and minimise risks.Support the delivery of HSE strategy and plans for all project sites and ensure consistency with SPR business strategy to minimise risks and enhance reputation.CriteriaProven project management experience within a delivery orientated environment.Experience and skills in managing teams in international environment and in JV structures.Experience in offshore environment preferably.Competent in future planning. Proven experience in delivery and contracting management and programming.Experience in tendering processes, contract negotiations and commercial delivery contracts.Experience in dealing with health and safety and environmental legislation associated with delivery, marine and offshore key packages.Sound relationship management skills and confidence working with more senior project managers.Good report writing, presentation skills and ability to summarize key parameters and drivers impacting the project and business.Contribute (or ensure resources are available) to early development key packages, giving advice to development teams on build ability / delivery issues.Makes recommendations on the staff requirements to ensure delivery of key packages over a 4 - 5-year period.Recruit staff necessary to deliver the key packages over the above timescales.Special Requirements (ideally)Experience of contracting, engineering design and deliveryExperience of offshore sectorProven track record delivering complex multi-discipline key packagesKnowledge and experience of large-scale engineering contractsHealth and safety management skillsKnowledge and understanding of the CDM RegulationCultural awareness
