We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader for our customer, a dedicated E-Commerce fulfilment partner based in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will be experienced, driven, ambitious and not afraid to get stuck in!
You need to have strong leadership skills - the ability to manage warehouse staff and ensure operational efficiency whilst maintaining high standards for safety and customer service.
The rate of pay is £28,080 - £29,120 per annum (£13.50 - £14.00 per hour.)
This is a full-time role working rotating shifts and the hours of work are:
1 x Sunday - Thursday 08.00-16.00/17.00 Monday to Thursday 07.00-16.00
1 x Sunday to Thursday 08.00-16.00/17.00 Monday to Thursday 09.00-18.00
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Team Leader you will be responsible for:
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of warehouse operatives to meet daily targets.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and company procedures.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching/training where necessary.
- Conduct stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Liaise with supervisors, drivers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle any issues or discrepancies in a timely and effective manner.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes and productivity.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Applicants will have a good working knowledge of warehouse systems and procedures. You will have excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (Team Leader/Supervisory role preferred).
