Senior Geotechnical / Geo-Environmental Consultant - Bristol

The Geo-Environmental Division provides site investigation services, land quality assessments, and technical guidance to reduce uncertainty and support informed decision-making.
We are looking for a Senior Geotechnical or Geo-Environmental Consultant to join their Bristol team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with around 4+ years\' consultancy experience, who enjoys a mix of fieldwork, reporting, and project management, and mentoring junior colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver site investigations and environmental monitoring
* Lead field-based elements of Phase 1, 2, and 3 assessments
* Prepare and review high-quality factual and interpretive reports
* Assess laboratory data and develop conceptual site models
* Support project management activities including budgets, schedules, and client communication
* Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and subconsultants as required
* Assist with proposal writing and fee estimations
* Maintain high standards of health and safety
* Mentor and develop junior team members through on-the-job learning
Knowledge & Skills
* Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related discipline
* Around 4+ years\' experience in geo-environmental consultancy
* Strong technical knowledge of contaminated land risk assessment and UK guidance (e.g., CLR11, LCRM)
* Confident in scoping, managing, and delivering Phase 2 site investigations
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Able to work independently and collaboratively
* Experience in project coordination or management
* Full UK driving licence
