Job Description
We’re recruiting for a Employee Communications Manager, Transformation to join us. You will be responsible for leading employee communications that support the delivery of L&G’s Transformation Office strategy.
What you’ll be doing:
* Defining and delivering a Transformation communications strategy that engages key audiences across L&G to support delivery of key Transformation workstreams, focusing on how we’re creating a growing, simpler, better-connected L&G
* Defining and delivering consistent narratives and communications plans for the Transformation agenda aligned with L&G’s strategy, creating high-quality communications materials to support priority workstreams, and reporting back on communications progress to the Transformation Office
* Creating and maintaining an overarching change communications approach, including tracking and coordinating activity, working with workstream communications business partners to ensure Transformation initiatives are coordinated in delivery
* Building relationships with key business leaders from across Group Functions and L&G’s Transformation Office, acting as a trusted advisor, shaping business decisions, and providing advice and guidance on how to communicate with key audiences
* Working closely with Transformation leads and Group Employee Communications to establish key metrics and provide regular evaluation of the impact of communications, and how they are driving desired change
* Working collaboratively as part of a wider Corporate Affairs function, supporting the delivery of our Group Employee Communications strategy, and broader Corporate Affairs strategy
* Ensuring communications are reviewed and approved by individuals who have the appropriate knowledge, skills, and expertise, and that such approval is recorded
* Taking the lead in all matters regarding the management of employees, ensuring that management discretion is used consistently and that the area follows the Group’s policies and procedures, including the Partnership Agreement, to maximise business performance
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
* Ability to work autonomously, but naturally inclined to seek input and perspective from a wide range of stakeholders – both internally and externally
* Knowledge of change and transformation communications, with familiarity with Group Functions (HR, Technology, Finance) preferred
* Able to develop strategic communications that translate complex business requirements, manage change and turn strategy into action
* Uses creativity and fresh thinking to continually improve employee communications strategies
* Ability to engage with leadership teams and senior stakeholders, establishing rapport and trust to successfully establish credibility in the role of expert adviser providing counsel and guidance
* Excellent writer with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
* Significant experience working within in a Communications function
* Strong experience in professional services, financial or corporate communications function – either in an in-house or agency capacity or both
* Evidence of experience in creating and editing lively, dynamic content
