Protocol Education is recruiting for a Behaviour Support Assistant to work within a specialist SEND school supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils who may present challenging behaviours
* Implementing behaviour support plans
* Assisting with emotional regulation activities
* Supporting classroom learning and engagement
* Promoting independence and confidence
* Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families
Hours:
* Monday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
* Tuesday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
* Wednesday: 8:30am – 3:45pm
* Thursday: 8:30am – 4:15pm
* Friday: 8:30am – 3:15pm
Requirements:
* SEND experience desirable but not essential
* Ability to build positive relationships
* Patient and empathetic approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply and pay for one
* Full-time applicants only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
