You will work part-time, 18 hours per week (3 x 6-hour shifts) at Cygnet Fountains, creating an excellent experience for the people in our care.
Cygnet Fountains is a high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) service for men with severe and enduring mental illness, who may have been detained under the Mental Health Act. The individuals we support often come to us after multiple placement breakdowns, failed treatment programs, or stepping down from secure settings.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in preparing balanced, appetising meals
2. Perform cooking tasks and other kitchen duties
3. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, service areas, and dining room
4. Wash utensils and dishes, ensuring proper storage
5. Rotate stock and manage deliveries
6. Maintain personal hygiene according to Cygnet standards and food hygiene regulations
7. Handle and store kitchen equipment following Cygnet procedures
8. Use chemicals in line with COSHH regulations

You are...
* At least 2 years' experience in a commercial catering setting, preferably within care
* Holder of a food hygiene certificate with good personal hygiene standards
* Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and a proactive team member
* Polite, professional, with a positive attitude
* An excellent communicator able to liaise with people at all levels
* Diligent and committed to maintaining high cleanliness standards
* Able to work independently, as part of a team, and under supervision
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
