Key Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of the tendering process, including preparation of tender documents, pricing, and negotiation.
* Prepare and submit valuations, cost reports, and final accounts accurately and in a timely manner.
* Control project costs throughout the construction lifecycle, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
* Manage subcontractor accounts, including interim payments, variations, and final accounts.
* Administer contracts effectively, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.

* Professional qualification (e.g., MRICS) is highly desirable.
* Minimum of 7 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a significant portion in a senior capacity.
* Proven experience in managing large, complex construction projects.
* In‑depth knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market costs.
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in relevant estimating and cost‑management software.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and commercial acumen.
