AWS Solution Architect – Up to £90,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Leeds – Hybrid (1–2 days/week in office or on client site)
Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance
Join one of the UK’s most respected consultancies, helping public and regulated sector clients adopt, modernise, and scale with AWS. As an AWS Solution Architect, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping secure and scalable AWS environments for complex programmes. You’ll:
* Lead the architecture and design of AWS-native solutions tailored to client needs
* Advise stakeholders and support teams on best practices in AWS security, networking, and architecture
* Contribute to high-level design documents and cloud strategy workshops
* Work across the software and platform lifecycle, collaborating with engineers, developers, and delivery teams
* Support cloud adoption journeys, even from early stages or greenfield positions
What We’re Looking For
* Strong hands-on experience with AWS core services (networking, IAM, security tooling, compute, storage, etc.)
* Proven background in cloud-native architecture – not just lift-and-shift migrations
* A consultative mindset, with experience delivering solutions in client-facing or multi-stakeholder environments
* Likely from a Platform Engineering background, though Software Engineers with strong infrastructure/cloud skills are also welcome
* Knowledge of IaC and CI/CD tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, GitLab CI, etc.)
* UK resident for at least 5 years and eligible for Security Clearance
* AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional)
* Experience in highly regulated or secure environments (public sector, defence, finance)
* Awareness of DevSecOps and secure-by-design practices
