Robotics/Controls EngineerChroma are delighted to be working with a leading robotics company in their search for aRobotics/Controls Engineerto join their thriving team.As theRobotics/Controls Engineer you will be responsible for designing, programming and supporting robotic systems across various industrial applications. This role also involves installation, programming, troubleshooting and optimisation of robotic systems to performance and safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Design and develop robotic automation solutions ABB robots
* Program and simulate robotic systems using RobotStudio
* Conduct on-site commissioning, testing, and support of robotic cells
* Integrate robots with PLCs, vision systems, sensors, and automation equipment
* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues
* Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams for seamless system integration
* Develop and maintain technical documentation
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
* Provide technical training and support to clients or operators
