Role: Dispute Resolution Solicitor

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Solicitor to join a busy Dispute Resolution team in Leek. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a skilled, multidisciplinary team, advising both individuals and businesses on a wide range of contentious matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide advice on various disputes, including debt recovery, property litigation, shareholder and partnership conflicts, warranty claims, contract disputes, professional negligence, and general commercial litigation.
* Deliver practical, commercially focused legal guidance across both commercial and property litigation matters.
* Manage your own caseload while working collaboratively within a larger team.
* Ensure compliance with professional standards, including SRA regulations, Lexcel, Law Society Quality Scheme standards, SARs, and accounting requirements.
* Support departmental growth through business development and by cultivating strong local professional relationships.
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor with experience in commercial and/or property litigation (1–3 PQE preferred, although all levels will be considered).
* Strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules, with confidence in making applications and advocacy where appropriate.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
* A collaborative, client-focused approach and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
