Our well know establish client has a superb vacancy for a Field worker, working remotely any where from the UK, they may be called in one in a while in their office nearest location. Occupational Therapist Field Advisor - Wheelchairs - permanent Location: Remote/ based at home can work from anywhere UK and offices / will be called in to various offices - locations when required.Salary Range: £25,000 to £50,500 per annum depending on experience.Hours: Full time position - 40 hours per week across Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm with a half hour unpaid lunch breakClient Group: Rehabilitation Engineer, Rehabilitation Engineering Technician, Field Service Engineer - Wheelchairs Clinical Commercial Services Team (Central - Peripatetic)The purpose of this role is to provide technical support services to service users, internal staff, clinicians and RE's, admin, FSE and service managers as well as all external stakeholders in the wider community and actively engage with them to promote our range of services. This role forms a key part of the business and will report to the National Personal Wheelchair Budget Manager and will have close links the Commercial Sales Manager and the Service Operations Manager's.
The reason of the role is maximising client choice and control through effective use of Personal Wheelchair Budget (PWB), formerly the NHS Voucher Scheme and through commercial non-NHS sales. This role will support internal service managers, clinicians, admin, customer service and FSE to drive the PWB understanding and drive uptake of PWB solutions provided by client Healthcare as well as the overall commercial sales. The role will also require external engagement with service users and their families, funding sources such as Employers, DWP, Charities, Education, Local Authorities, Health Trusts and CCG's.
The role will also require you to demonstrate and promote, helping to provide the purchase of private equipment and wheelchairs within the healthcare industry to private individuals as well as business to business. The role will require close working with the National PWB manager to maximise sales target achievement.Job Role:* To achieve targets sets by the Board of Directors and disseminated by the PWB manager to ensure budget targets are continuously met or exceeded.* To support the provision of weekly and monthly reports to the Board of Directors and Business Development and Customer Relations Director regarding revenue and targets. * To support the provision of accurate and timely quarterly reports to the Clinical Commissioning Group regarding performance.* To support the daily supervision of personal wheelchair budget as well as commercial paperwork and administration.* To provide service improvement suggestions to the Clinical Commissioning Group and Board of Directors following service user feedback.* To provide training to Clinical and Customer Service staff on the PWB and commercial processes* To deliver presentations on PWB and commercial processes to Commissioning groups and external parties.* To provide ongoing training and support to Clinicians and Customer Service staff on department processes and ensuring this is recorded by HR.* To provide support and guidance on marketing ideas and content for leaflets and flyers* To continuously promote the Clinical Commercial Services Department amongst the wheelchair service Community ensuring the service user is at the heart of everything you do.* To engage with external bodies and CCG's regarding PWB and Commercial.* To support the PWB and Commercial steering groups on a Monthly and Quarterly basis, attending meetings and providing feedback from service users and implementing within the company* To be involved in the flow and process of how PWB and Commercial Sales are managed within the company and to service users* To visit service centres to provide support to Service Operations Managers regarding customer queries and provide support to Clinicians in client assessments* To support the provision of client assessments for service users and provide a quote based on specification and service user needs.* To provide assessments on a wide range of equipment, including Non - NHS provision and Business to Business Sales* To work with external parties to build a strong PWB and Commercial network* To build strong relationships with external parties and suppliers* To undertake manufacturer training and external party updates* To attend seminars and trade exhibitions on behalf of the company* To keep up to date on new and existing ranges of mobility equipment outside of the NHS offeringIn Return Client Offers:* Fantastic Salary + Benefits* Excellent company to work with* Career progressionFor more information, please contact
