Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Secondary School – Accrington
Immediate Start | Full-Time | Term Time Only
We are seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming and supportive secondary school in Accrington. This is an immediate start role, providing essential classroom and pastoral support to help our students achieve their full potential.
The Role:
* Supporting teachers in delivering high-quality lessons
* Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
* Assisting with behaviour management and promoting a positive learning environment
* Helping to prepare learning materials and classroom resources
* Providing additional support to students with special educational needs (SEN) where required
Requirements:
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Proven school-based experience in a secondary setting
* A passion for supporting young people’s education and wellbeing
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
* An up-to-date enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
