Responsibilities:
* Customer point of contact for contractual & commercial matters
* Support to Sales Teams, whilst being primarily responsible for reviewing and negotiating terms and conditions and managing all commercial/contractual aspects relating to specific bids and proposals
* Advice, assistance and guidance on a wide range of commercial matters to members of the Business Unit Team including Project Directors, Project Managers & functional team members
* Collation of commercial data as required for Business Unit bids and projects (management briefings, reporting and information)
* Involvement in the development and implementation of commercial policy, procedure and practice
* Encouragement of good industry standard practice and self-assessment of quality and accuracy of commercial work.
Qualifications:
* Demonstrable record of working in a commercial environment
* In depth working knowledge of pricing, terms and conditions and other contractual documentation
* A working knowledge of export control issues particularly with regard to working with US sourced controlled data, goods and services
* A working knowledge of offset issues
* A working knowledge of UK MoD contracting methods and practices
* Experience in delivering commercial contracting, negotiation and administration
* Capable of interfacing with Senior Company and Customer personnel
