Pay: £13.35 per hour
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (including some weekends)
About The Role
We’re looking for confident, committed people to join our team as an Environmental Enforcement Officer. The role is straightforward: you’ll spend your day on foot patrol across the city centre and outer boroughs, identifying environmental offences and issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) to offenders.

What You’ll Do
* Patrol busy areas and outer boroughs on foot throughout your shift.
* Challenge and issue FPNs to individuals committing offences such as littering, dog fouling, and fly-tipping.
* Record activity accurately in reports and statements.
* Educate the public on environmental responsibilities.
* Work independently and as part of a supportive enforcement team.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong communication skills and professional presence.
* Resilience and confidence when dealing with the public.
* Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor patrols in all weather.
* Reliable, proactive, and detail-focused.
* Driving licence preferred (not essential).
What We Offer
* £13.35 per hour, full-time, permanent contract.
* 40 hours per week, Monday-Sunday shifts between 8am-6pm.
