The Role
We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Sales Estimator to join the team on a contract basis. This is a hands-on, high-impact estimating role where you will price live fabrication projects and develop a robust, competitive pricing structure to support the sales function.
What you'll be doing:
* Reviewing tender packs, Engineering drawings, and project specifications
* Building accurate, competitive, and profitable cost estimates for fabrication projects
* Creating and maintaining a detailed sales pricing list for Integrated Air products
* Maintaining our estimating systems, pricing tools, and historical data
The Ideal Candidate
You will be a detail-focused Estimator with a strong background in fabrication or manufacturing, confident working with technical drawings and pricing complex steel or ductwork projects. About you:
* At least 2 years' experience in estimating, ideally within structural steel, ductwork, or a similar metal fabrication environment
* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Experience with AutoCAD 2D and 3D
* Confidence using estimating software and advanced Excel skills
* Direct experience with, and personal access to, Tempus Tools or an equivalent pricing/estimation software
* A keen eye for detail and an organised, methodical approach
* Excellent communication skills
It would be a bonus if you have:
* Familiarity with steel standards and fabrication processes
* Specific experience in ductwork estimation or fabrication
* A background in fabrication or manufacturing
* An understanding of coatings, finishes, transport, and installation considerations
