A specialist offshore engineering company is looking for a Lead Project Engineer to take full responsibility for delivering platform and structural projects from contract award through to final delivery.
You’ll lead multi-disciplinary teams, work directly with clients, and play a key role in shaping how projects are delivered across the platforms business.
This is a senior delivery role with genuine influence, not a reporting position inside a large EPC structure.

What you’ll be doing
* Leading delivery of offshore platform and structural projects
* Managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams and suppliers
* Maintaining control of project schedules, cost forecasting and financial performance
* Managing project risks, change requests and variation orders
* Supporting technical bids and commercial proposals for new work
* Building strong relationships with clients and contractors
* Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
What they’re looking for
* Around 10+ years’ experience delivering engineering projects within offshore energy, oil & gas or heavy engineering environments
* Proven experience managing projects valued ÂŁ5M+
* Strong commercial and contractual awareness
* Experience leading engineering teams, suppliers and contractors
* Confident managing both technical coordination and project delivery
A degree in engineering or recognised project management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 etc.) would be beneficial but isn’t essential.
Package
* ÂŁ70,000 - ÂŁ80,000 depending on experience + excellent benefits
