What We Are Looking For

As a HR Business Partner you will act as a relationship manager for designated business functions within EMEA, proactively partnering on people‑related matters in line with business strategy and requirements.

Responsibilities

* Build strong working partnerships with leaders in the designated business functions, becoming integrated with the management team(s) to understand their priorities and to identify and translate business drivers into a commercial people plan, utilising consulting and other HR skills as required.
* Interpret and pragmatically apply HR policy and best practice to advise and influence leaders and their teams on a full range of complex people‑related matters throughout the talent lifecycle (including strategic workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, non‑routine employee relations matters, etc.) in order to achieve positive outcomes in line with business priorities.
* Develop a deep knowledge of the talent within the assigned business functions, utilising talent lifecycle data and information to advise and coach leaders on engaging and developing their teams with a view to retaining top talent at all levels of the organisation (partnering with the Learning & Development and Talent Acquisition teams as appropriate).
* Actively partner with leaders on change management initiatives including organisational design, restructures, etc., assessing implications and risks to optimise long‑term outcomes.
* Work with leaders to drive the culture of the business functions in line with Invesco principles and strategic priorities.
* Oversee HR support for cyclical activities such as the annual talent management, performance and compensation reviews (ensuring decisions are performance and market‑led and challenging decisions/being point of escalation for concerns where necessary).
* Interpret and leverage management information to enable leaders to take better informed decisions.
* Work with the broader HR team to ensure that HR policies and practices are designed, implemented and communicated effectively to meet business needs and changes in legislation and regulations.
* Partner closely with functional and global HR colleagues to ensure a coordinated and high‑quality HR provision for matrixed business functions across the full breadth of the HR remit.
* Lead or actively participate in regional and global HR projects as required.

Qualifications

* Significant prior experience as a highly effective HR Business Partner in a global, matrix environment.
* Proven experience in partnering with leaders on all people‑related issues, proactively identifying issues, recommending solutions and advising and coaching across the full remit of HR activities.
* Experience working with complex incentive plans would be an advantage.
* Experience working in a regulated environment would be beneficial.
* Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
* Strong working knowledge of principles of coaching and change management.
* Good knowledge and understanding across the broad spectrum of the full HR remit (ie compensation, benefits, organisational development, learning and development, talent acquisition).
* Good knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel.

Disability Confident Scheme

Applicants who opt in to the Disability Confident Scheme and meet the ‘minimum criteria’ for the role will be offered an interview. This scheme guarantees an interview but does not automatically mean that applicants interviewed will gain employment with Invesco at that time.

Commitment to Inclusion

We are committed to providing an inclusive recruitment process for all candidates and welcoming everyone to shine during the application and selection process. We support necessary adjustments during interviews or assessments to accommodate diverse needs.
