Typical day as a Housing Manager
7. Be visible and proactive on estates, building strong relationships with out communities.
8. Manage multiple patches and neighbourhoods, supported by Community Housing Assistants
9. By being visible, engaging with customers, and proactive on our estates, you’ll help strengthen communities and improve neighbourhoods
10. Tackle anti-social behaviour and respond to customer queries and complaints.
11. Oversee the voids process, working closely with local authorities.
12. Carry our estate inspections, meet contractors on site, and complete safety and compliance checks.

About You
13. Housing sector experience with knowledge of housing management, housing law and ideally universal credit
14. CIH Level 3 or willingness to work towards it
15. Organised, methodical, proactive and positive
16. Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
17. Resilient when handling challenges and complaints
18. Confident working with external partners and stakeholders
You will though, spend most of your time out in our local estates, all while still being part of a supportive team.
Job details
19. Hybrid role; in an average week, you’ll spend 3 days working from our community patches
20. There be some flexibility to adapt your working hours (to discuss at interview)
21. Mostly Monday-Friday, with occasional evening meetings, but you will be able to manage your own diary
22. Although you’ll spend time in our neighbourhoods, we do get together regularly for team meetings
23. Vehicle insured for business use required, but we pay for your mileage
24. You’ll need a Standard DBS check done and we pay for that
