Tasks
The SafeguardingCoordinator is a vital Touchstonewide role providing specialistadvice and guidance to Touchstone managers and staff whilstproviding best practice information sharing across relevant boardsand with Touchstones stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunityto consolidate the development of robust supporting reporting andreflection systems around safeguarding and to maximise theirefficiency and effectiveness.
The SafeguardingCoordinator is line managed by the Operations Director forInclusion based at our head office in Leeds. The post holder willon occasion be required to travel across the district to meet withservice managers and provide specialist training tostaff.
Requirements
Applicantsare required to have experience of specialist safeguarding workeither in a professional capacity e.g. as a nurse or social workeror through work in domestic abuse education settings or early helphubs.
