Overview
Join the Salford Older Adult Community Mental Health Team. Provide specialist psychological assessments, formulation and interventions to older people and their families, support team interventions for individuals living with dementia, and engage in consultation work, training, development and audit.

Responsibilities
* Deliver specialist psychological assessments, formulate and intervene with older adults and their families.
* Support team interventions for individuals living with dementia.
* Engage in consultation work, training, and development activities.
* Involve in audit and research projects.
* Provide direct clinical work, including evidence‑based therapies, complex assessment and shared formulation development.
* Collaborate with the team to develop psychological and trauma‑informed approaches to distress.
* Conduct home visits and community work, ensuring safe and efficient service delivery.
Qualifications
* Eligible for registration as a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with the British Psychological Society.
* Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Suitable candidates may benefit from a preceptorship, progressing to Band 8a upon meeting experience and competency requirements.
* Demonstrated ability to plan and execute safe, efficient community and home visits.
