We are seeking a Global Head of Social Relations (F/M) to join our AXA Partners HR teams.
Your Role Will Be To
1. Monitor the social climate across AP countries in collaboration with Regional or local HRDs, EXCOM members, and Group Social Relations.
2. Anticipate and coordinate workforce adaptations necessary for transformation initiatives, reorganizations, or significant contract changes.
3. Manage social relations effectively by addressing issues, educating stakeholders, and fostering positive social dialogue.
4. Maintain regular communication with Social Partners to understand strategic change initiatives and strengthen relationships, including managing the annual AP EWC seminar and bi-annual Group EWC interventions.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Be To
1. Ensure global coherence of policies, activities, and social initiatives, and compliance with local regulations.
2. Inform stakeholders of issues requiring management attention and manage messaging with Group Social Partners.
3. Develop comprehensive workforce plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to manage workforce changes effectively.
4. Build and implement social strategies to manage workforce adaptations on a global and country level.
5. Provide strategic guidance and support to manage Social Relations Partners and ensure informed advice on workforce impacts.
6. Support local HRDs in managing relationships with Unions and Worker Councils, and in implementing new or updated conventions.
7. Facilitate regular and collaborative social dialogue to minimize conflicts, organize EWC seminars, and represent AP at AXA Group social relations committees.
8. Coordinate with internal communications to effectively communicate changes and their impact on the workforce.
Your Profile
1. Extensive social knowledge and experience in social relations within Europe, especially France and Germany.
2. Excellent interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to handle difficult conversations and influence stakeholders.
3. Strong negotiation skills and decision-making capabilities.
4. Ability to analyze and understand the company's environment, culture, and strategy.
5. Cultural awareness and sensitivity to diversity.
6. Multilingual: fluent in French and English; German is a plus.
7. Degree in Social Relations, Employee Relations, or a related field preferred.
8. Ability to balance legal requirements with management preferences to ensure compliance.
