About the role As Head of Compliance, M&E and operational administration, you will provide senior leadership and overall accountability for safety critical and operational services across Selwood's housing stock. Reporting to the Group Operations Director, you will lead specialist teams to ensure services meet all legal, regulatory, financial and performance requirements and that customer safety is our first priority. This is a senior, visible leadership role requiring confident engagement with stakeholders at all levels, including the ability to set standards, manage risk and lead highly capable, results driven teams, while providing clear, timely reporting and robust assurance to the Board on the delivery of safe, compliant services across the organisation. What we're looking for: We're looking for a senior compliance and operations leader with significant experience in regulated housing, who shares our values and brings strong judgement, clear accountability and a commitment to keeping our customers safe: Customer Driven You put customer safety, service quality and compliance at the centre of decisions, prioritising delivery that protects homes and meets statutory obligations. Accountability You take clear ownership of standards, performance, risk and budgets, providing robust oversight and assurance through accurate reporting and audit ready insight. Develop & Learn You stay current with legislation, best practice and emerging risks, using this insight to strengthen systems and continuously improve compliance and operational delivery. Champion Communication You communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels and lead managers and specialists to deliver high standards through accountability and performance. You'll bring: * Relevant building safety qualification. * Management-related qualification. * Proven experience managing construction, maintenance or compliance projects, preferably within a Registered Social Landlord environment. * Financial management skills for accurate forecasting and asset management. * In depth knowledge of procurement practices and strong contract management skills. * A commitment to Equality and Diversity.
