Employment Type: Part-time 8 hours per weekx 1/4hours per weekx 2
Working Pattern: Days, Weekends (Saturday and Sunday - 4 hours 9am-1pm or 10am-2pm)
Friends of the Elderly (FotE) is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to providing excellent care with a family feel, we have been supporting older people for over 120 years. The charity provides care home and day care services for older people, as well as grants for older people in financial difficulty.
Redcot, specialising in residential care, is set in the delightful town ofHaslemere, Surrey. Overlooking beautiful gardens and surrounded by countryside, much of which is owned by the National Trust,Redcotis blessed with a unique, tranquil setting.
Joining us as aDomestic Assistant / Housekeeper, you will help keep our care home clean and ensure that we offerhigh standardsof hygiene and cleanliness. You willbe responsible forgeneral domestic duties such as vacuuming, polishing tables and office surfaces,wiping armchairs and dining chairsand emptying bins.Youllmake sure the laundry service runs smoothly andassistwith serving meals and refreshments.
Self-motivated and resilient, a team player who is willing to go the extra mile, you will take pride in your work ensuring residents are at the heart of our service. Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety would be beneficial but by no means essential. No prior experience is needed, as we will give you all the training you will need to excel in this role!
A good standard of English and number skills arerequiredfor this role, and you will be comfortable using various forms of digital technology to be able to complete online training.
