Our client, is currently seeking to recruit a Site Engineer for their Construction material's supplier company. Salary is up to 40k per year DOE plus company benefits. This is a permanent, full-time role (45 hours per week). Flexibility is required, as occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary, with additional pay provided where applicable. The role is fully site-based (5 days per week), with a company van provided, and reports directly to the Senior Contracts Manager. We are currently seeking a Site Engineer to join a growing civil engineering team, delivering a range of framework and standalone projects across the region. We are particularly interested in candidates based in Greater Belfast, Armagh, or Down. The Role You will be responsible for providing technical support, site supervision, and operational input across a range of civil engineering projects. This includes ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Deliver projects in line with programme, budget, and performance targets Carry out accurate setting out using GPS, Total Station, and levelling equipment Manage site resources including materials, plant, and labour Supervise site teams and subcontractors to achieve project KPIs Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular progress updates Liaise with stakeholders to resolve operational issues efficiently Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards Maintain accurate site records and support contract administration Assist with cost control, valuations, and reporting Support preparation of RAMS, permits, and site documentation Undertake various surveying duties (e.g. topographical, GPS, drainage inspections) Plan and coordinate site activities to meet project deadlines Essential Criteria Third-level qualification in Civil Engineering (HND or equivalent minimum) Minimum 2+ years post-qualification experience, ideally within civil or highways projects Experience using GPS, Total Station, and setting out equipment Knowledge of Health & Safety and environmental standards on-site Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience with AutoCAD Full driving licence Valid CSR card Desirable Experience in highway construction Knowledge of CDM regulations and RAMS preparation Experience working to ISO standards If you are interested in this opporunity please send your CV via the link provided or call Naomi at Kenect Recruitment on for further information
