We are seeking a fully qualified Electrician to join our team at HMP Bedford, a Category B & adult/male prison.

We are a Ministry Of Justice business and provide critical, time-bound services to HMPPS. We are seeking an Electrician with a suitable combination of qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
As an Electrician, you will contribute to the maintenance and operation of electrical systems within a prison environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and continuity of operations.
Qualifications
* certificate in BS7671:2018 (18th edition)
* Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services (City & Guilds/EAL), including relevant NVQs and competency assessments (AM2/AM2S). For example: 2367 or 2357.
* Two years\' experience working as a fully qualified electrician
* Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems
* Good working knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance operations
* Good Health & Safety knowledge
* Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
