We’re looking for a standout individual to join us as Intern to the Group Chief Digital & Technology Officer (CDTO). This is a high-profile, hands-on role offering exceptional insight into how a major organisation sets and delivers its digital and technology strategy at the executive level. Contribute to Digital & Technology Initiatives: Take ownership of small work packages, research emerging digital and technology trends, track project progress, and produce clear insights and summaries to support leadership decision-making. Engage Stakeholders & Communicate Effectively: Represent the CDTO’s office confidently, build relationships across the organisation, and communicate clearly, asking thoughtful questions and adapting your style to the audience. Learn, Grow & Explore: Seek exposure across multiple technology domains, observe how digital leadership operates in a complex organisation, take on new challenges, and use feedback to grow. Demonstrate Professionalism & Adaptability: Stay organised, reliable and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment, showing initiative and contributing positively to team culture. What you’ll need to do the role: We’re looking for someone with curiosity, drive, and a great attitude. You should be excited by digital, technology, strategy, government affairs, and the future of how organisations work. Key strengths we value: Analytical thinking and the ability to grasp complex concepts quickly Clear communication - both written and verbal Professional maturity - discretion, confidence, emotional intelligence Strong organisation - able to juggle tasks, manage time, and deliver reliably A learning mindset - curious, proactive, and eager to explore new domains If you’re articulate, credible, and ready to learn at pace, you’ll thrive here.
