The role for the Project Engineer will require you to provide technical support to the engineers
Our client is a market-leading company in a niche sector who have been established for over 60 years, in the supply, manufacture, design, install and service of engineering equipment. They are currently looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join their team as a Project Engineer.
The role for the Project Engineer will require you to provide technical support to the engineers, so the suitable candidate will be required to have excellent engineering knowledge and be able to generate mechanical drawings using AutoCAD. You must have a driving licence to apply for this role.
Job Description for the Project Engineer:
You will join a busy department to support with the following:
1. Procurement of materials and coordinate of the goods to meet installation deadlines
2. Be the first point of technical support for the engineers
3. Document and prepare O&M manuals
4. Produce mechanical drawings using 2D AutoCAD from quoted designs
5. Submit the packs for approval and make necessary amendments – see through to completion
It would be good to see candidates for the Project Engineer role with the following:
6. Must have experience working in a similar role
7. Ideally hold an Engineering qualification (ONC, HNC, BEng)
8. Experience/an understanding of drainage works, water works or construction is essential for this role
9. Must be able to generate 2D AutoCAD mechanical drawings is essential
10. Confident in procuring materials
11. Computer literate and an understanding of CRM
12. A strong multitasker
13. Able to work within a demanding role and be able to work to tight deadlines
14. A professional and personable approach to workloads
15. Driving licence is essential
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 DOE Per Annum
