Your Role
As a core Vehicle Technician in our Cardiff team, you will:
* Mechanical Repair & Maintenance: Carry out routine vehicle servicing, mechanical maintenance, and essential repairs to strict manufacturer standards.
* Diagnostics & Fault Finding: Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults using modern, high‑spec workshop diagnostic equipment.
* Used Car Preparation: Inspect, service, and prepare used vehicles efficiently to meet top‑tier sales standards.
* Tech Evolution: Work across a diverse range of brand‑specific and multi‑franchise vehicles, with future opportunities to service advanced hybrid and electric models.
* Quality Assurance: Support workshop efficiency and maintain an excellent quality of work on every vehicle.
What You Need
* Qualifications: City & Guilds Level 2 (or equivalent NVQ) in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ post‑qualification experience with strong "all makes" mechanical skills.
* Key Traits: A confident technician who takes visible pride in workshop quality, welcomes a challenge, and enjoys learning new skills.
* Licensing: A full UK driving licence is required.
* Certification: An MOT tester licence is preferred but not essential.
