We are currently looking for an individual who is a natural leader in hospitality, to join our small luxury hotel as a part-time Hotel Night Supervisor. You will be professional, confident, and self-motivated, required to welcome guests and assist them with all their requests. You will need to have a comprehensive understanding of all hotel services and a sound knowledge of Oxford and its surrounding areas. You will work with other departments within the hotel to ensure our guests feel welcome throughout their stay. Duties of the Night Supervisor: To welcome guests in a friendly and accommodating manner, making a great first impression Provide information to guests and assist with luggage Assist with requests; booking taxis, giving directions, room service (to assist hotel guests with the drinks and food orders from the night menu) To learn and retain a comprehensive understanding of all hotel services – and useful local information - to ensure maximum benefit to the guest and the ability to work effectively Maintaining all necessary aspects of security for the hotel during the night shift To check guests in and out of the hotel, observing housekeeping status, ensuring the correct rates are charged, that all services are correctly billed and that the guests’ payments are properly processed To bank cash and cheques received during your shift To follow correct shift procedures and checklists at all times, ensuring that daily tasks are completed and a thorough handover takes place at the end of your shift Requirements of the Night Supervisor: Provide friendly and professional customer service Ability to work under pressure Experience working in a similar guest-facing role Knowledge of the local area Good computer literacy Effective time management and organisational skills We offer an excellent rate of pay for a part-time position, working 3 shifts per week, from 10pm to 7am. An OTE up to £15.50 per hour, including non-contractual tronc (service charge).
