Your mission As Works Manager you will be responsible for: You will be responsible for all the supervision on site and will have weekly engagement with the team to support all activities. Health, Safety, Quality, & Wellbeing is a top priority. You will be involved in promoting, training and other initiatives that develop a strong culture and promote BAM Nuttalls Vision and Values. Project a professional image of self and the company. Set personal example and promote best practise in safety, quality and environment, leading meetings and promoting culture. Manage site supervision, sub-contractors, supply chain and the workforce. Management of all operational activities ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures and legislation. Build and develop the team to deliver all aspects of the project requirements. Oversee the programme by monitoring and ensuring labour, plant and materials requirements are sufficiently met and take accountability for delivery. Ensure all operational records are up to date and in place. Attend and contribute to safety, programme, commercial and business meetings as necessary. Develop foremen and the workforce, e.g. identifying, monitoring and arranging training requirements to ensure competency and reviewing performance. Take an overview of the construction works and ensure that a professional image is maintained at all times. Manage industrial relations issues. Manage the quality of the work to ensure client satisfaction. Who are we looking for? Successful experience as a Works Manager on civils projects. Demonstrate extensive experience in successfully managing all major civil engineering activities and temporary works. Experience in the development and promotion of safe systems of work. Demonstrate excellent people management skills and experience in team building. Excellent communication skills, including communication with external stakeholders, e.g. public, client and Joint Ventures. Qualified First Aider Whats in it for you?
