We are currently looking for a Property Estates Surveyor to join our team. The department head office is based at Quorn House, near Loughborough, however we can offer a range of office locations throughout the UK and we offer a hybrid working model. The successful candidate will be able to work within a team and under own initiative working remotely.

Role Responsibility
In the role of Property Estates Surveyor you will be responsible for a number of tasks including:
1. Overseeing day to day estate management matters on freehold and leasehold industrial and commercial property
2. Negotiating lease renewals and rent reviews with landlords and their agents to achieve the best possible return
3. Optimising rental income generated by Tarmac’s Land Portfolio
4. Budgeting, forecasting and approving property related costs including rent, rates, service charges and maintenance.
5. Instructing and managing external consultants and agents
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in the role of Property Estates Surveyor you will have proven knowledge and experience of:
6. Industrial and commercial property ownership and occupation in the UK, including landlord and tenant legislation
7. Industrial and commercial property market agency in the UK
8. Negotiation of rent reviews, lease renewals and general estate management matters
9. Town and country planning law, policy and practice
