Service Advisor – MG Dealership, Oxford
We’re currently looking for a Service Advisor for our MG dealership in Oxford.
This role acts as the liaison between our customers and service technicians and is the face of the business when customers come in for service and repair. The Service Advisor’s responsibilities include greeting customers, listening to requests, scheduling appointments, estimating costs and conducting inspections. Our Service Advisors work with customers to understand their vehicle issues and problems, determine the repair timeline, and liaise with technicians to convey the customers’ concerns with accurate repair descriptions.
Responsibilities
* Communicating with customers regarding their vehicle needs.
* Maintaining positive relationships with customers to ensure repeat and return custom
* Using online bookings, phone calls, and in-person interactions to schedule and book appointments, vehicle drop-offs, and vehicle pick‑ups with customers, using our in‑hours and manufacturer systems and processes.
* Keeping customers updated about the status of their vehicle through the workshop.
* Liaising with technician colleagues about vehicle statuses and ensuring that vehicles will be ready for customer on time.
Qualifications
* You’ll be an active listener and excellent communicator.

* You’ll be comfortable working to deadlines.
* You’ll have a full UK driving licence.
* If you have Service Advisor experience, that’s great, but we are happy to train anyone with some experience in customer service.
Salary, Hours and Benefits
* 8:00am-6:00pm Mon-Fri and Saturday 8:00am-1:00pm on a rota basis (45 hours per week).
* OTE of up to £40,800.
* 31 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays, some of which you will be required to cover).
